BetConstruct Live Baccarat has recently been given a complete makeover.

This extends from the studio the tables are situated in, to the tables and the playing interface.

Everything has changed and for the better.

They’ve obviously been studying the competition as they seem to bring the best bits together into one very playable game.

I especially like that there are no gimmicks.  There’s a choice of two playing views, a great range of Side Bets and some positive additions to the Road maps.

In common with the other Betconstruct live casino games, you can only describe the lobby as functional.

There’s not a huge selection of tables to choose from.

Betting limits are different across tables and sometimes there might be a selection of native language dealers.

Results of the last 12 hands are displayed for each table.

The Playing Interface

The playing interface comes in two viewing modes.

There’s the more traditional one which caters more for multi player. This option gives a complete view of the table, side bets and a glimpse of the Road Maps.

The second view is more of a single player view. The betting areas are overlaid on the table, with a betting box for each option.

The Road Maps are displayed in a separate drop down window, and are more readable in this format.

The interface is configurable, so you can switch off some of the annoying sounds and music effects.

Player Chat can be blocked completely if you don’t like seeing it.

If you like to play just the Banker or Player positions there’s an option to turn off the side bets. This does away with the on screen options and displays for the side bets.

When I’m playing I like to have most of the options enabled, excluding the music. I also prefer the view where the Road Maps are more visible, as I use these to help me with my Betting Strategy.

Baccarat Betting Grid

The betting grid on both playing views is very straight forward.

You can place a bets on the Banker, Player and Tie. Wins on the Banker position pay 0.05% commission.

Ties pays 8:1, Player wins pay even money 1:1.

As with all Baccarat,  if you bet on Banker or Player and the game is a Tie, you get all of your stake back.

Side Bets

There’a a good selection of side bets on Betconstruct Baccarat.

• Player / Banker Pairs – Pay 11:1.
• Perfect Pair pays 25:1.
• Either Pair pays 5:1.
• Sum Bonus pays for the total of the cards dealt.
  • 18 with two or more 8’s pays 50:1.
  • 18 with one 8 pays 12:1.
  • Eighteen pays 6:1.
  • Under 5 pays 2:1.
  • Over 14 pays 1:1.
• Tie Bonus pays when there is a Tie.
  • 5 Card tie @ 3 pays 50:1.
  • 6 Card tie @ 9 pays 25:1.
  • 6 Card tie @ 8 pays 20:1.
  • Six Card tie @ 7 pays 10:1.
  • Miss by 1 pays 1:1.

RoadMaps

Baccarat Road Maps show the previous results of the current dealing shoe. As each hand is dealt the Roadmaps are updated with the result.

Betconstruct Baccarat comes with 5 Road Maps:

• The Big Road.
• Big Eye Boy.
• The Small Road.
• Cockroach Pig.
• The Bead Plate.

The single player view of the table has the better view of the roadmaps, so i’d use this if you like to keep an eye on the trends of the shoe.

Summary

I really like the Baccarat that Betconstruct has created. There’s no bells and whistles. It’s just simple straightforward Baccarat with a good selection of Side Bets.

The tables are a great colour and the studio environment is sympathetically decorated.

If you’;re playing from the UK, you’ll only get English speaking dealers. Other languages are available depending on the casino you’re playing through.
