The game’s primary purpose is to win more money than you have bet up to the point of reaching the coin flip part of the game.

It’s not easy to win significant amounts on Crazy Coin Flip unless you enter the final stage with an active Scatter multiplier.

There is a cost to qualifying and topping up in this game. If the amount you’ve invested is less than the sum of the final multiplier and our qualification bet, you will lose.

The strategies and examples I will show you are real-life ways of playing and are intended to show you what will happen. They won’t guarantee a win, but they will help you understand the impact of how you bet on whether you’ll be able to achieve a winning payout.

Strategic Decisions

Any multiplier you receive above the value of your total bet is a good thing, be happy with that and take it.

• The initial coin flip values at the end game will be between 5x and 100x. You’ll need the multipliers in the top-up phase to win any decent money.
• Decide how much you want to invest (bet) on each game round. I mean the total amount of bets you’ll place, including bets during the top-up phase.
• Decide whether to use a high or low bet amount during the qualification stage. Your tactics for the Top-up Phase may influence your choice.
• During the Top up phase – if you have bet a high amount in the previous round, it’s not essential to place big bets here to get the bigger multipliers.
• There is no need to bet big during the top-up phase if there is a Scatter multiplier on the final coin flip.
• If you have bet small during the qualification phase, you can bet bigger during the top-up stage to get more multipliers.

Whatever you do, ensure your total bet amount is more than a sensible multiple of your qualification bet amount. For example, if you have bet 0.10 a spin and spent 5.00 qualifying, the final multiplier win amount needs to be 50x to break even! More if you have boosted the Multipliers during the Top Up Phase.

Small Bet Example

Let’s see how a small bet strategy looks. This approach relies on making small bets during the qualification process and placing bigger bets on the next phase to boost the multipliers. The aim is to qualify for as small an amount as necessary. Here, the good thing is you’re playing a slot, so you’ll get some turnover on your bankroll.

• Start with a £25 Bankroll.
• Bet 0.10 a spin. If every spin is lost, it will take 250 spins to lose your bankroll. That won’t happen as you’ll be getting wins; it takes 400 spins to lose your bankroll. I estimate you should qualify for the Coin Flip in about 100 – 200 spins. Your bankroll is now about £20 – at this point, you need a multiplier of 50x to break even!
• On the Top Up Phase, increase your bet size to £0.50 and make ten spins. Your bankroll now stands at £15, which means you’ll need a total multiplier of 100x to break even. I can’t predict what multipliers you have achieved during this phase – but let’s assume 10x on each side.
• The presenter needs to give a multiplier of at least 90x on each side for you to break even.

Big Bet Example

The only difference between the small and big bet examples is your bankroll and whether it’s necessary to place big top-up bets.

• Starting with a bankroll of £1250, we will bet £5 on each spin. You will lose your bankroll in 250 spins if you have no wins. However, 400 spins are more likely.
• You should qualify in about 100 – 200 spins, which will leave you with a bankroll of £1000. You’ll need a 50x multiplier to break even.
• I would be inclined not to place any Top-up bets – or if I did, they would remain relatively small if I made ten bets at £1 and got 10x multipliers for each side. I now need a multiplier of 52x to break even.

What about the XXXtreme Mode Spins? – Are they worth playing?

The XXXTreme Mode spins help you qualify more quickly, but they come at a cost.

I was on the fence as to whether they were a good idea. I’ve played the Xxxtreme Mode spins and was surprised at the results.

Using either of the Xxxtreme spins will increase the frequency and value of the multipliers on the Scatters. The Super XXXtreme mode gives the best ones.

If you use the XXXtreme Mode Spins, they will cost you five times the initial bet amount. Betting this way will only become cost-effective if the Qualification process takes five times less than the normal spin process. If it doesn’t, you’re wasting your money.

The Super XXXtreme Spins mode is fifty times your regular bet’s cost. So you’d expect qualification to occur in a few spins. You’ll be out of pocket if it doesn’t, as you need some wins to help turn over your bankroll. My experience is you’ll qualify with an average of 5 spins – sometimes it’s just one spin!

Of the two spins, my advice is if you play either, go for the Super XXXtreme Mode Spins and not the XXXTreme Spins.
