Red Door Roulette is a mash-up of two existing Evolution Live Games.
They’ve taken the concept of Lightning Roulette and added the iconic Crazy Time Bonus Round, accessed through a Red Door, to give us a roulette game called Red Door Roulette.

The whole purpose of playing Red Door Roulette is to get into the Bonus Round. If you’re playing because you love roulette and don’t care about the Bonus rounds, I suggest you play standard European Roulette or French Roulette with La Partage for the best returns.
In this strategy section, I will explain the best bet to make if you want to get the bonus round and how to hang onto your bankroll for longer while you do it.
The bonus round is highly volatile, which means that the payouts will usually be relatively small. The big wins come when a multiplier is rolled over into the bonus round, and a Double or multiple doubles occur when the wheel is spun.
Let’s look at the data for the game to see what we can learn.
There are thirty-seven straight-up numbers, so if you bet on each number, you’d bet 37 units. When you win, and you will every time, the payout is nineteen units, so you lose twenty-eight units. It doesn’t take much to see that this is a losing strategy you should avoid at all costs.

Play this strategy if you have a decent-sized bankroll and don’t mind losing every other game round on average.
This is my favoured bet because it gives me a 33% chance of getting a winning number and, therefore, sometimes entry into one of the bonus rounds.
This bet involves betting on thirteen numbers. You can distribute them over the betting grid however you like, be it favourite numbers sections of the wheel or neighbours. It doesn’t matter in the long run, as you’ll have a third of the wheel covered.
This bet takes 13 units and will pay when you win 19 units, so you make a small profit.
Now, that won’t happen every time. Statistically, it will happen every three spins, although that can fluctuate over the short term. You can check the stats on how often the Thirds come in to confirm this.
I prefer this bet because it limits my exposure and helps maintain my bankroll while giving me the chance to be in one of the bonus rounds. I won’t hit every bonus round. In fact, it will take a while, and I’ll miss some because I don’t have the numbers covered. But it’s better to be in with a chance than have no chance. This bet is about managing the losses in the hope that I get a decent win when the bonus round comes around. If I don’t, I’ll probably end up busting out!
Autoplay is a great function that allows you to place the same bet for a specified number of game rounds. It’s also a great tool to help manage your bankroll and wins and losses.
You’re guaranteed never to miss a game round, and you can set a stop limit on the amount you win or lose.
It helps you keep track of your bets but means you’ll probably bet more often than you would otherwise if you placed the bets manually.
When you’re playing Red Door Roulette, you want to know how often the Bonus Round is triggered and how many keys, on average, are distributed across the betting grid.

The results trackers are good for seeing what’s happened in the past, but past events do not influence what will happen in the future. Roulette is a truly random game, but some players look for trends or Hot/Cold numbers to help them decide where to place their subsequent bets.
There’s no harm in this. As with any strategy, it’s good to have an approach to playing, but none of these can guarantee a win.
That, unfortunately, is all down to luck!
The payouts in Red Door Roulette follow the standard payout chart for Roulette for all bets except the Stratight-up Bet. Usually, this would pay 35:1, but in this game, it pays 19:1.
You’ll also see the max payout expressed as 3999:1 for the Bonus Round, triggered by a qualifying straight-up bet. That’s the maximum possible payout. The reality is payouts will be from 20x upwards!
The RTP for Red Door Roulette is 97.09% for a Straight-Up Bet, while the rest of the game is 97.30%.

Red Door Roulette is an exciting game, as it’s taken elements from Lightning Roulette and merged them with a popular bonus round from the Crazy Time game.
Rather than being played in its own right, Roulette is used as the qualification process to get into the bonus round. The Red Door Crazy Time wheel is the destination all players want to end up at, as that is where the big wins in this game are found.
The best you can do in the base game is a 19:1 payout, which is not very good compared to regular Roulette and other multipliers roulette games. The payback is in the bonus round.
I think the game will appeal to Crazy Time players as they already know the potential for wins from the big wheel. The cap of 4000x suggests that that can happen, although it’s probably a once-in-a-year event.
This volatile game will deliver small wins, with the big wins only occurring occasionally. The key for players is to find a betting strategy that will allow them long play sessions to get some wins while waiting for the bonus round to hit.
I’ve been wrong about these types of games. It’s not a game that will keep me interested for long if the bonus rounds don’t hit frequently. However, some people like that, it’s just not for me.
