Playtech Sic Bo Deluxe is a supercharged version of the Asian dice game Sic Bo.
This version comes with the addition of multipliers that can take a winning payout up to 1000x the bet amount.
The game follows the same principles as Playtechs very successful range of Quantum Games, which applies multipliers to Blackjack cards and the numbers on a Roulette wheel. In fact I was surprised the game wasn’t launched as Quantum Sic Bo, rather than Sic Bo Deluxe.
Of course it doesn’t matter really, but would have provided some consistency across the product range.
The excitement when playing Sic Bo Deluxe comes from the betting. This game is all about the betting and trying to predict which number combinations might come up during the game round.
You can bet on Single numbers, doubles , triples, two and three dice combinations as well as Big/Small type bets. There is no Odd/Even bet type.
Obviously different bet types have different chances of happening and that is how the odds and payouts are decided.
The addition of the random multiplier, somewhat throws that up in the air, so it’s possible to get a high payout for a frequently occurring result!
Lets have a look in a bit more detail.
Before we start I need to highlight there is a number of betting combinations on the board that don’t get the multipliers assigned to them.
Big/Small and a number bet with a single dice don’t qualify for being multiplied. Only 2 and 3 dice combinations do.
While the multipliers are selected randomly, there is a limitation on the maximum multiplier for a bet type.
I’ve detailed what they are in the table below.

The base game payouts are lower than a standard game of Sic Bo, because something has to fund the Multiplier payouts.
If you’re more interested in “returns” you’ll get better payouts at a Playtech Casino that has regular Sic Bo.
Also interestingly, there is a difference between the payouts of Evolution Super Sic Bo and Playtech Sic Bo Deluxe.
Of the two, Playtech offers the better returns for the more popular bets with the exception of the 9/12 total, which is 29:1 as opposed to 49:1.
It also has no Odd/Even betting option.
The RTP for the entire game of Sic Bo Deluxe is 97.22%, which is calculated on the Big/Small Bets.
The range of RTP across all bets is 95.008% to 97.22%.
There is a nice set of statistics in the playing interface, which help you see what has happened in past dice rolls.
They are divided into two views.
This results view shows the last 10 Results.
For each result the total number of the 3 dice is shown.
Below that, the value of each dice is displayed.
This results view is a more traditional looking Roadmap.
It displays the Big/Small Results. This is the most common bet type, although I’d actually prefer to see more on the other bet types.
In my opinion a playing strategy for Sic Bo Deluxe is about getting the most enjoyment out of the game, for as long as possible.
If you end up ahead, that’s great, but it shouldn’t be the primary reason for playing.
However saying that, some of the betting strategies lend themselves more to getting big payouts, especially when the multipliers are around!
So lets examine three of the playing strategies I use for Playtech Sic Bo Deluxe:
Lets see how they perform.
I use this betting strategy for Sic Bo Deluxe when I want to play the game for a long time and don’t have a huge budget to do so.
This is the least risky of the strategies and will maintain your bankroll for the longest. You’re unlikely to win a huge amount, however on the flip side you shouldn’t lose too much either.
This is a more risky strategy, as you’re betting on more positions on the betting grid. However with risk comes better rewards. This strategy uses the bet positions with payout odds greater than even money. These ones also qualify for Multipliers!
I like to place a few bets using this strategy. One Bet to hedge another bet. Sometimes one bet will lose while the other wins. Of course losing both bets will reduce your bankroll quickly, so this needs a slightly larger bankroll or smaller initial bets.
YouR17;ll have fun with this, but may find you walk away with nothing if you don’t hit one or two big payouts.
This is by far my favorite betting strategy for Sic Bo Deluxe and i’ll tell you why.
I cover a lot of the board, so when dice combinations come in I get paid out for multiple positions. I also get to hit the multipliers more often.
It’s the most risky strategy but the most fun. So let me take you through it.
For Info: The only position on the betting grid to pay up to 999:1 Multiplier is the Specific Triple Bet.
If you want to win it, you have to play it. So this strategy includes a named Triple Bet!
What is the Strategy? I bet on every occurrence of the same number.
Let me explain.
If your favourite number is 6, you place a bet on every betting position that contains the number 6, or where the sum of the numbers is 6.
You can of course choose any number.
This strategy covers a lot of the board and increases your chances for getting the multipliers.

Playtech Sic Bo Deluxe has been designed to be used on all device types: Desktop, Tablet and Mobile.
I enjoy playing on the Desktop version.
The playing interface comes in two formats depending on the quality of the connection you have. The full screen mode, as it’s suggests shows everything on one screen.
While the lower quality version displays the live stream in a smaller window, allowing most of the available bandwidth to be spent on servicing the betting grid and player controls. That way you get a good game even if the connection is slow.
The more I play Sic Bo Deluxe online the more I like it. I use my Number Strategy, which covers a good part of the board, so I’m hitting multipliers and wins on most dice rolls.
The general payouts are better than the similar game at Evolution, with the exception of one betting position.
Sic Bo Deluxe also doesn’t have the Odd/Even betting positions, so you have less options for Even money bets.
I’d certainly recommend you try this game. If you’ve never played a dice game, this is fun and if you follow my advice on betting you should have an enjoyable time playing.
