Football Studio Dice is a new take on the original Evolution Card Game, Football Studio.
Rather than using cards to determine the result, that game uses four dice, two for the Home Team and two for the Away Team. The side with the highest combined dice total wins!
If you think you’ve seen the dice before, you have; the Dragon Tiger/Baccarat-inspired game Bac Bo uses them.
This Football themed game is easy to play. It will cover Soccer and American Football games throughout the season, with particular attention given to the World Cup, Champions League and Super Bowl.
In this review, I’ll explain how to play and whether you can use strategies to help determine the winning side.
Here are five things you need to know before playing Football Studio Dice.
Football Studio Dice uses a purpose-built physical studio.
The layout has a playing table across the centre of the studio. The left half of the table is for the Home team, and the right side is for the Away Team.
Embedded within the table are four dice shakers – two for the Home team and two for the Away team.
The game plays in two halves, with the first Home, and Away dice shaken first, followed by the second half, where the second Home and Away dice get shaken.
The totals from the two shakes, which happen within seconds, determine the result.
You can place bets on three bet positions.
A bet on the Home or Away Side will pay even money, 1:1, if your side wins.
If you correctly predict the result is a draw, you will get paid 8:1 for a draw of 2-2 up to 11-11.
If the Draw result is 12-12, the payout increases to a massive 80:1.
This game has two hundred and seventy-seven outcomes. One Hundred and thirty-three will be for the Home Team, while the Away team will have One Hundred and thirty-three wins too. There can be eleven draws.
Even with the limited number of outcomes, it is impossible to predict the result. If it were, we’d all be rich!
Primarily an even-money game, the result can go three ways, a Home Win, an Away Win or a Draw. Evolution makes their house edge on the Draw. Most of the results will be wins.
Betting-wise – if you stuck to just betting on Home or Away for each game, you’d have a 48% chance of winning.
The most common strategy for playing this type of even money bet is the Martingale Strategy. However, it is a losing strategy, as its premise is to double a losing bet until you win. The best you do is to break even. It makes you a bit gung-ho, thinking you can always recover your losses when you’re more likely to lose everything.
My advice for a good Football Studio Dice strategy is to bet on Home or Away and have a small bet on the Draw. This way, if the 12-12 draw comes in, you’ll get 80:1.
Football Studio is a slow-build game where big wins only happen if you bet big – so Baccarat players are likely to like this game.
Another strategy I like to use is to bet on a winning position and stay in that position until I lose. When that happens, I double my bet and bet on the other position until I lose, which is excellent if you get a run of Home or Away wins for four or five game rounds.
Football Studio Dice is such a simple game to play. The studio is excellent, and the presenters chat about the latest football stories and games.
If you like gambling and chatting about soccer, this is the place to be. The last result from the Premier League, Champions League and Fifa World cup is displayed in the playing interface in real time – keeping you updated with the latest goals and results.
Football Studio Dice is an upgraded version of Evolution’s Football Studio Card Game. Dice rolls determine the results of a themed game, pitching Home and Away teams against each other. The team with the highest two-dice total is the winner.
